One Piece: After Big Mom Arc

in #anime7 years ago

Hey fans of One Piece. I have some great news for you all today. But, this may upset some, while some may be very happy hearing it. So, before I start with this post, I wanna warn you all about potential spoilers which are in this post. If you wanna go with the flow not knowing where the series is headed, I don’t suggest that you read the post.

But, if you’re fine with spoilers, like me, then you can continue. First, let’s talk about the current Arc in One Piece, which is Whole Cake Island. It has been going on for about 40 chapters now, and even now, it shows no sign of stopping. There were rumors that we were going to head into Wano Country arc after Whole Cake Island by the end of this year. Sorry to break your bubble but that’s not going to happen.

As of now, Whole Cake Island still has a lot of plot points that need to be wrapped up. We have Luffy vs Katakuri. Sanji vs Oven (potential), and then there’s Big Mom and her cake. That’s not all. There is Germa 66, and don’t forget about Sun Pirates. Along with that, the stuff with Pudding, and even Chiffon and her father needs to be sorted out.

There are Underworld members who we don’t know about right now. So, without a doubt, we’ll see all that in the upcoming months. Whole Cake Island won’t be ending anytime soon. I think there’s easily about 20 chapters of Whole Cake Island left, and Oda’s pacing is about 7 chapters per two months. Taking that into consideration, it will at least take up to March to conclude Whole Cake Island.

When that happens, people expect the Strawhats to head to Wano. But, that’s not going to happen. Oda confirmed that Wano Country will start about 1-2 years from now. That means there will be at least one major arc between Whole Cake Island and Wano arc, and in my mind, I have no better arc than the Reverie. It has been hyped by Oda himself last year, and I think it fits perfectly.

Now, for some people like the Zoro fans, this might be a little hard to take, because we know that they’re at Wano and there’s just no way we can see him and the rest of the Strawhats before entering Wano. Other than that, I think it is great. We’ll see the new admiral, and along with that, we will also see possibly a big conflict, which may cause the greatest war ever in One Piece. All I know is Reverie is going to exciting as hell.

What are your thoughts on Reverie and Whole Cake Island? Let me know in the comments section below.B96204EF-4101-41B9-B0D7-D2860C8FF693.jpeg
