hello hello!
recently i cosplayed yashiro nene from toilet bound hanako-kun. i haven't cosplayed her since november of 2021, and boyyy was there a glowup!
i won't show photos of my old cosplay, because i don't really have photos. but just trust their was indeed a glowup... especially from the very first time i cosplayed her which i do have a photo of, thanks to snapchat, but i am absolutely not showing that EMBARRASSMENT i called a cosplay.
so, i wanna start filming me getting into cosplay, because frankly it's funny. i make some goofy faces while doing makeup and i talk to myself and dance to music, it's so cursed. but i normally go live on tiktok and chat with my followers so i always forget.
perhaps i'll do it in the near future.
anyway! yashiro, yashiro, yashiro.
i have much planned for her cosplay, i just don't exactly have any chaching ($). so this is just her for right now, i will slowly keep buying things for her among other purchases! right now i am "saving" for a shenhe cosplay from genshin impact. also pokemon scarlet/viloet (i haven't decided which one i want yet.)
i have to much stuff to save for and not enough chaching T-T send help.
i have promised multiple of mutuals on tiktok that i'll buy shenhe soon, so she will become a priority i think.

this wig... is truly something.
i haven't styled it at all since november 2021, and since then it's been shoved in a drawer and very neglected. i brushed it out and called it a day, it was surprisingly okay.
THE BANGS ON THIS WIG.
i'm a little scared of chopping wigs, because obviously if i mess up it doesn't grow back... so 2021 me, when i styled just aggressively curled the bangs.
it looks fine, but yashiro canonically has micro bangs, so having these super long bangs is like the opposite of her character :')
they also kept stabbing me in the eye but it is okay.
the contacts are mesh, and pink, (in case you couldn't tell.) and they make seeing very difficult.
my eyesight is already quite poor, but the contacts make everything pink tinted and blurry, which made it hard to make sure my wig was fine, and whatever while in cosplay.
oh! toilet bound hanako-kun is based off the japanese urban legend hanako-san, which is basically the japanese bloody mary. i love asian urban legends and stuff like that, and the story of hanako-san is quite interesting! the anime / manga isn't about the urban legend directly, they're not really anything alike, because when yashiro attempts to summon hanako-san she is met with hanako-kun instead.
"that's not really the look i'm into these days." hanako-kun says, after yashiro expresses her surprise that he is not a school girl in a red jump skirt.
a funny story i have from when i was in cosplay:
like i said, my eyesight was awful while wearing the contacts.
as the amazing sister i am, i enjoy whacking my brothers for fun, so, i playfully punched my little brother, to which he playfully threw a punch back.
i go to stop his hand (which he is moving in slo motion) and completely miss.
we both start laughing, it was really funny.

Have you figured out how to post into communities yet? I wanted to say I can think of at least three that this might fit into but of course my brain stopped at two (the make up one and well maybe there's multiple anime ones, maybe that's why I thought at least three).
Love the freewriteups, they really add, good thing we don't have to use them for English now XP
