Hey, how does the number of "Upvotes" affects your Witness status?
It's not necessarily the "number", but the "power". Be aware that witness votes are separate from post upvotes, you have to go to the steem witness page to vote for people.
Much like post rewards, a whale vote is going to be worth more than a minnow vote. But many minnows can slowly add up to the power of a whale :) ( that's the whole point of the @minnowsupport project, which I help to run )
So, More powerful upvotes = More rewards for a witness?
I just don't understand this game. Many witnesses ask for Votes. I just want to understand if that helps their position.

It might be a good idea to tell customers how much value the account created will have inside. at 0.003 = 29.00 USD it might make them feel better that they get some of that back.
