DeepOnion: A standard or organization (allegation resolved 1 – anonymity of developers)
DeepOnion is a crypto project initiated by a four anonymous developers, the project is aimed at providing privacy for every crypto transactions on DeepOnion platform. And as an innovative move to provide the privacy, TOR network is deployed locally to improve some of the features of the project.
The project started implementing its plan in early June in which airdrop system was introduced as to freely benefit the supporters of the project. In other to get this organized, strict screening is made on accounts for conditions lay down and abuse of system. As a result, many were denied or banned from the airdrop due to either of the reasons above. Initially, these people rejected from the airdrop never sees this project as a scam but as a monetary system to loot. This later caused hatred on the project due to the strict system and FUDs started spreading on the project, to an extent that those that never visited the site claimed it is a scam.. What a deluded thought.
In other not to be bias with the views, here are properties and comparison of crypto organizations to judge if a project is scam or not. Anonymity of the developers: This is not a new thing in crypto as there are many legit projects with anonymous developers such as BTC itself, NXT had anonymous developer from start in 2013 etc. Developers keeps their identity for several reasons and DeepOnion developer is not to be excluded of these reasons. After all the FUDs on the anonymity of the developers, the team was forced to make a representative from the growing team as themonkii became the host of youtube live questions and answers, while youtube videos are as well made with him featuring in it. As we know one of the team, is the claim still valid as to allegation made of anonymous team? No.
