One big problem today is the inability to discus sensitive issues in polite tones.
It is this lack of civilized discourse that dooms us to chaos.
Anorexia versus Obesity or Overweight. Your right there are powerful forces at work attempting to help people accept themselves, which isn’t all wrong, but as we accept ourselves we should accept the fact that all of us are flawed. Some of our flaws are unchangable but some of them aren’t. In general, people don’t have to be extremely overweight or extremely underweight, unless they choose to be or are suffering from an emotional disorder which pushes them to that fate. I say generally because I am sure that someone can think of an exception to the rule that most of this is self imposed suffering. Honest frank talk about these issues can help people get better. Bravo to you for sticking your neck out.
