Gentoo Penguins, along with other penguin species will typically use ice floes as resting places whilst out foraging for food to help feed their growing chicks. These moments give you the opportunity to not only take some photos but also to sit back and soak up the atmosphere that you surrounded by.
This day near Neko Habour was another perfect day with calm conditions, which meant for amazing exploring opportunities to search for these such moments. The landscape behind the penguins is beyond stunning and it is actually the view across the Gerlache Strait of Anvers Island.
