Hi Steemians! Are you or someone you know struggling from anxiety?

I have been struggling from anxiety most of my life and it's exhausting. A few months ago, I diagnosed myself with anxiety. I know most people go and see their doctor about it, but I've been too scared to do so.

As each year goes by, it gets worse, so worse I struggle to get of bed each day.

There are many things that I can't do because of my anxiety. The first one would be dating, I just can't seem to go on a date without tensing up, having a panic attack or sweating continuously. The second would be driving, I'm ok to start off with, but if I get someone driving up my rare end, I start to panic bad! My last one would be working, it's not like I don't wont to work, but I find it very difficult working in a large group. I know I'm a good worker because I'm highly praised but without jobs that have minimal people, I can't work professionally.

I just wish people understood what we go through, whether its a physical disability or mental disability, we deserve to be treated the same.

Thank you for reading my story

Quote on anxiety: “My anxiety is silent. You wouldn't even notice a change on the outside but I'm honestly so stressed I can't even manage simple tasks. People call me lazy when, in reality, I'm just overwhelmed.” HealthyPlace.com
