**** @dollarvigilante responded - see comments! ****
So in your last two posts:
- Want To Be A Steemillionaire? Here Are The Crucial Things To Do For Newbies on Steemit
- Steemit Is A Scam! How Bernie Sanders Screwed Me!
You were apparently trying to be funny, whimsical, comedic, etc. I swear I read both of them before commenting/voting but apparently I JUST DIDN'T GET IT!
I have since gone back and re-read them both and I still don't get it. However, I am a strong enough man to admit when I am wrong so:
@dollarvigilante I am sorry for calling you out and for down voting your posts! I have gone back and retracted them.
Now that that is out of the way, as one relative Newbie to another can I make a few suggestions:
- Try using the #satire tag or #funny or #anythingtoletpeopleknowitisajoke tags when you mean for a post to be taken as a joke/comedy/satire.
- When you do How-To posts like the first one I mentioned above, how about using "Search" and see if anyone else has done a similar post. If you think yours is better, then at least "reference" the other posts and point out why yours is better/different/unique/original.
- Remember that even though you are famous and have a shit ton of followers, most Steemit users are not. We would really like the chance to build up our own following here and maybe make a few bucks in the process.
I only mention this because you have made a post everyday since joining Steemit and raked in thousands upon thousands of dollars that by your own admission you don't really need it. There are a whole lot of us struggling to survive and we do "really need " those votes.
Anyway, @dollarvigilante and everyone else thanks for reading my Apology/Suggestion post and if you want please feel free to follow me. I could use the support.
PS - Here is a funny whale video because who doesn't love funny whale videos?

No problem. We all make mistakes. Those who own up to them are the better men. I have added satire as a tag now. Cheers!
As for point #3, I'm trying to get Steemit to be bigger than FB in the next 24 months... I am drawing a massive crowd to it right now. Barry Cooper, Luke Rudkowski, James Corbett and many more to come are all moving on to Steemit which will bring in tens or hundreds of thousands of people. That is my goal. I can't stop people from upvoting my content and my writing less will not make your life better, I am pretty sure.
You probably have a point, it is just a struggle (more so for others) to get noticed on here unless you are famous! That is the only point I was trying to make!
I'm a fan of @barrycooper I watched his videos and passed them along to my peeps in the hood who.. really needed that education. :P
Thank you for bringing him on.
@dollarvigilante I am sending an email to Doug Casey as we speak. He's a hero of both of ours and would make a great whale for Steemit!
I sent you a message on chat.. Now I'm starting to think it was unnecessary... were you or are you upset with what happened or not?
I supported what you said... what's up?
Again sorry, I don't sleep much and I just didn't get it.....
Hey @dollarvigilante
I made a post for you. Overall, I like your stuff, appreciate your hard-work but I just wanted to give you some advises. Please do not mind them. I am not your hater. Wish you much more success on steemit man. I apologize if my post hurt you in any way. Very sorry for that bro.

What is the dollar vigilante

Errare Humano Est. We make mistakes all the times, what it makes us better than animals is the admitting our mistakes.
We are watching @venuspcs and we thought DV was super serial also.
It's OK we all misunderstand things sometimes.
I completely bashed him before I even read the post in its entirety. I'm working right now, and I made the post while I was busy doing other stuff. I have since edited that post to acknowledge my mistake. Lesson learned on my side. Just say no to Knee jerk reactions. Honestly, that was probably the first post I've ever seen where somebody who makes that much money on a single post repeatedly presented a post with that style. It threw me off. Some of the responses I've gotten for that comment have actually been pretty hateful. There's really no need for that so I have stopped responding to anything I get for it. I even flagged my own post.
The first post didn't seem like satire to me. When I read the second one it was obvious to me it was satire, and I could tell in the comments some people didn't get it.
@venuspcs - this makes me happy. It takes a big person to admit when they were in error. Props to you. I was disappointed at how I saw you going at him, but now that you have explained why it totally makes sense. I have done this same thing many times. In writing it can be difficult sometimes to detect TONE and know if a person is serious or not.
EDIT: Or you may just be a cunning genius. I suspect people are going to up vote the shit out of this.... you're crafty. :)
Umm....genius....I FREAKING WISHED!
