গুগলের ডট অ্যাপ ডোমেইন !
ডট কম, ডট ওআরজি’র মতো গুগল এবার টপ লেবেল ডোমেইনে ডট অ্যাপ চালু করেছে। এটা করা হয়েছে অ্যাপ ডেভেলপারদে জন্য।
গুগল ইতোমধ্যে এই ডোমেইন নাম কেনার জন্য নিবন্ধন করতে অ্যাপ ডেভেলপারদের আহব্বান জানিয়েছে।
ডট অ্যাপ নতুন করে প্রথমবারের মতো টপ ফার্স্ট লেবেল ডোমেইন হিসেবে এইচটিটিপিএস এনক্রিপশনে কিছু নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে আসছে বলে গুগল মঙ্গলবার এক ব্লগ পোস্টে বলেছে।
আর ডট অ্যাপ ডোেইনের অন্যতম সুবিধা হচ্ছে, এর নিরাপত্তাটি বিল্টইন হিসেবেই থাকছে।
এর অন্যতম পার্থক্য হচ্ছে, এইচটিটিপিএসে সব অ্যাপ ওয়েবসাইটের সঙ্গে সংযোগ করতে হবে। তাহলে ওয়েবসাইটগুলি, বিজ্ঞাপন ম্যালওয়্যার এবং আইপিএস ট্র্যাকিং ইনজেকশন থেকে রক্ষা করার জন্য, খোলা ওয়াইফাই নেটওয়ার্কে নজরদারির বিরুদ্ধে তথ্য সুরক্ষা করবে বলে জানায় গুগল।
৭ মে পর্যন্ত গুগলের ডট অ্যাপে নিবন্ধন করা যাবে বলে জানায় গুগল।
২০১৫ সালে গুগল টপ লেবেল ডোমেইনে ডট অ্যাপ কিনে নেয় অন্তত দুই কোটি ৫০ লাখ ডলারে।।
