I really like learning about appics @el-cr . It seems to have everything we need to help grow the community and make crypto type social media easy to understand for the masses. What are your thoughts on @steepshot ? I've been using that since the day it launched and I love it. I'm wondering what the difference is and will I need to use both.

hey @cflclosers thanks for the support!
I would say that @appics will has its own reward pool with its own cryptocurrency, very different from Steepshot which depends on the steemit rewards pool.
I also use steepshot, I am not saying I dont like it, but for me, and this is a personal opinion, its a bit annoying to automatically have my steepshot pics appear in my blog, steemit is a platform to blog. Again thats the way I feel.
Also, I still have to research about steepshot future plans, but I do know that @appics has a very interesting reward system like I wrote in my post about their categories and team of influencers.
The other aspect I see different and that I like a lot, is that through time you will be able to enable features according to your reputation and activity, like the integrated shop option, which I think its a really cool idea and it makes users to be more into it.
I hope I was able to give you some ideas.
Yeah I suppose it has more features and I do agree about the annoyance of pictures showing up on your main steemit page. I'm hoping there will be a future fix for that. I'm wondering if having steepshot rely on steem is better for steem. I hadn't considered the advantages, if any, over having a separate rewards pool. I'll have to think about that one. I just assumed that having everything running on steem would be better for steem that a separate token but I could be wrong about that.
