Hi Friends!
I know I'm a little late to the party - but I'm excited to finally put up my first Appics post!
I want to say a huge thank you to @soldier and @mrs.steemit who I met at Steemfest for getting me hooked up on the beta test version of the app!
I plan to Appics quite a bit on my secondary account @shinebright where I share my daily Actifit reports and look forward to sharing more fun moments and photography from the day.
I'll still use @appics here on my main page from time to time as well! Especially since I'm heading to Mexico in a few short days and will have loads of fun beach and pool shots to share!
I have to say that so far I'm super impressed with the app! It is super easy/intuitive to use and they have tons of fun filters. I think I'm most impressed with their branding. The Appics logo and colors look so clean and modern - which to be honest is kind of rare in the blockchain dapp space. I think more dapps could take a note from Appics in terms of user experience and design.
I challenge you guys to all try Appics as well if you haven't yet! They recently made a Video on @dtube with instructions on how to download the test app.
Welcome to APPICS 🙏🏾
Thanks @sirwinchester! Stoked to start using your app!
Welcome to Appics 💕
Thanks so much @mrs.steemit! Excited to be here!
Oh wow this is awesome, welcome to @appics @coruscate glad to see you here, I have been posting on hete as a tester for a while now and if you get a chance to see my latest chicken dinner post or check out my page and follow me in the future on here it would much appreciated my friend. I will do the same for you!
Lol, you had a lot of patience writing all that text, because how much I love the app, it's hard to write with it, not making the first word after a 'dot' a Capital Letter and all :-) Anyway, good you're using it now, I recently started using it too! Very intuitive app to 'promote' to not-yet-Steemians...
Agreed! My first thought was that this looks like a "real" app. LOL! That was actually one thing I struggled with - was the writing. Because "description" seemed like it was for the title... and I didn't see anywhere to include a body of text... so I edited the post to add it in later.
What have you done? Is the first line you type the title and the rest shows up as text in the post? I gotta play around with that all and figure it out. :)
Hehehe - I just kept it as it is and accepted it as a ‘style’ - like I once had to accept twitter had a character limitation and I felt like I had to learn to write again... ;-)

Hahah good point. And you’re right... I’m not really supposed to be writing novels on these posts anyway. Old habits die hard. 🤣
Lol! All the ‘other’ oldskool apps don’t end up in one central place like everything Steem... so they are easier to respect for their own specific qualities :P

Nice @coruscate! I've used appics a few times. I like it, but sometimes it crops the photos a bit too much. I hop back and forth between appics and steepshot. But regardless of the cropping, your photo looks beautiful. Hope you have a great time in Mexico!
Have it on my list to check out and can’t wait for the beta to be over!
