I captured this photo myself today with my iPhone XS.
I used my tripod, my Pivo pod, natural lighting from the sun, and my Apple Watch Series 3 to start the photo timer. The portrait mode on iPhone is fantastic! I also adjusted my settings to use the Stage Lighting, which gave the image a black background instead of what was actually behind me.
Waooo.... This is really lovely. I pray God provide an iPhone for me, any type of iPhone 😁😁... The picture is really awesome. You can download a mobile photoshop for little effect...
I too wish for you to one day receive an iPhone. They truly are a blessing, capable of so much.
Yes I use many different apps on my phone to edit, this photo didn’t require any editing. It came out perfect from the start.
When I do use software on my mobile device to edit my photos, I prefer Snapseed 😁

I was wondering how good that studio effect thingy is on the new iPhones! Doesn't look half bad for something simple like a new portrait for social media.
You really need to have awesome lighting for it to work well. Once that simple check mark is ticked, all of the iPhone portrait effects work excellent on a human subject.
I’m thinking it helps if you have a good colour separation between the subject and background.
Yes some sort of distinction to hold the portrait modes hand 👫
