Ok got you ππΌ there will be another distribution round at the end of this month and this will create more βwhalesβ on Appics! I can see how that is frustrating but at this moment we are still in test mode. Once Appics fully launches there will be a lot more power in the network and influencers whoβs job it is to find new talents and reward new users. Did you talk to any of those whales directly yet?

nope I haven't yet as there is no way to do it. And I said how I won't go public with any names yet, the rants are here with hopes of provoking some thoughts so maybe they realize, how, distributing rewards between friends IS profitable but happy community is a much bigger win long term. Needless to say how split 50/50 between authors amd curators is huge already, giving everything to yourself and friends is pure greed π€·ββοΈ
Hm okay I See, the thing is Iβd rather suspect laziness than selectiveness as the reason why those whales donβt vote enough on different content. Maybe if you tell them politely in comments to help the community it might be more efficient than your rants π also you can msg me the names on telegram and Iβll see what we can do!
you may be right, but, I'm a content creator and you need to keep that in mind π I don't think laziness is the answer since this way the additional 50% of the earnings is being kept on close circle between friends, later on they can mutually agree on what to do with it ππ€·ββοΈ
Those names are so easy to figure out. Just check the top10 place holders on the APX stake rich list. Took me just a few minutes.
What 50/50 you are taling about. AFAIK on appics rewards are split 65% to authors and only 25% to curators. Curators get only 1/3 or tiny bit more what authors do. I see this as a major misstake. 50-50 ratio made a marvelous improvement in curation activity on steemit. For unknown reason Appics team decided not to follow that route...
hey Alpha, you are right. I didn't see my first payout before writing that so I was unaware of that fact π€·ββοΈ good that you told me, now we know, which is 1 of the crucial steps in moving forward.
