This is the last Aurora we were lucky enough to capture in 2018 a few days before ...

... the New Year. We had this display up at a particularly frosty Pyramid Lake in Jasper National Park; and it was quite dynamic to the naked eye. Aurora have been few and far between this last 12 months, so let’s hope this year we can officially call out 2018 as the solar minimum and things begin to pick up. That Pyramid Mountain shrouded in cloud on the left at 2,766m or 9,075ft. Love Life, Love Photography

I like how the trees kind of line up with the Aurora. Mountain is gorgeous above the dark forest

Thanks. The mountain is a lot bigger than it looks in this shot.

Awesome and beautiful capture. Amazing sight.

This is awesome, I have never seen this before. Had one shot in Iceland on a one day flyover....and it came the day before lol

Pity about the Iceland experience; it does take some patience.

Fantastic photo. Would love to once experience these first hand. Thanks for sharing!
