Start small, that's what helped me, i committed to 15 minutes a day, no matter what, because that much time is wasted daily anyways so you can as good invest that time to have a gracefuller life at an older age. I logged my time with a simple motivational technique from Jerry Seinfeld named "don't break the chain", simply mark every day in the calendar and if you leave out one day you simply start over and try to beat your previous streak. A supportive community like codyapp.com helps too, my streak was over 2 years and the 15 minutes turned into hours daily.
This year I try to slow down a little, just 90 minutes :)
