YES, big yes, particularly her earlier work due to the fact it was shot on film instead of digital. There's something more artisan about having to do things the hard way that can't easily be fixed in post. Wes Anderson tries to uphold the same culture of not wholly relying on VFX. Many of his scenes would work just as well without top tier CGI, he keeps it as a final garnish to the creative soup instead of the entire flavor.

I completely agree. I absolutely love the film format over digital. A director that comes to mind is Wong Kar-wai. Everything just feels more authentic and artistic on film. There's beauty in film grain, beauty in the slight decrease in quality as a result of more emotion on the screen.
