Apple: a new iPhone 8 updated in 2020?

in #apple6 years ago

It's no secret that Apple is facing a very particular period for iPhone . Sales in the first part of the year did not go well and for this reason, in the future, a revised iPhone 8 could debut .

According to a Chinese source , there would be the possibility that one of the last two models with the "old" design could go on sale again in 2020 . However, it will not be a simple iPhone 8 but a revised version of its features.

The idea is to give users an updated iPhone 8 with a 4.7 "screen with FHD resolution, 128GB of storage space, Apple A13 SoC housed in a newly designed PCB and a single camera for the rear area. All for a price that could be around $ 650 , saving in part on research and development.

Always to keep costs down and to avoid too many changes in terms of industrial design, this smartphone should maintain Touch ID instead of Face ID.

Clearly this is still speculation and rumors and the plans for 2020 could change. Apple would still seem willing to produce other models a little smaller than the current portfolio: for example, still according to rumors, a new high-end iPhone could have a 5.42 "screen instead of 5.8" as a starting point .
