It was really a crazy experience for me and luckily there’s no explosions. I manage got off the laptop on time.

What should I do? Do I get to change to have any warranty from Apple?

OMG !!!! What da hell ??? Were you charging while using or was it just on batteries ? This is crazy ... lucky thing you are ok ...

Yeah... Charging while using. What a crazy day!! Hope can claim the warranty... 😕

I see 6 or more of these show up on my service tickets each month. The hard drives (and your data) usually survive, but the rest of the machine is generally a pile of scrap. I have only seen one or 2 that were repairable. Apple on the other hand refuses to repair them. Most often they replace the whole device. And that is IF they deem the device to have a warranty at all. I have sooo many horror stories of them backing out on warranty covered machines for the dumbest of reasons. I've been a PC tech for nearly 30 years -but they won't allow me to service their products. Customers usually have to send the device in to Apple, paying shipping and insurance both ways. As if that was not enough, some of them have had to pay for the repairs or for new parts. Often the price of those parts/repairs equal or surpass the cost of the unit. (better off just buying another new machine...yikes) I know of several people who sent their machines in to Apple and had to wait as much as 8 months to get the thing back.

Only to have the exact same failure happen again. And their warranty would not cover a 2nd incident.

Thank you for your response... I think I will get a new one instead. Just hope that my SSD survive.
