American technology giant Apple has released an update of iOS 11.2.5. You can update it in iPhone and iPad. Additionally, Apple has released WatchOS 4.2.2 and TVOS 11.2.5 and you can download it as well.
Talking about the features offered in iOS 11.2.5, it will also feature a special feature in your iPhone which is based on Siri. Siri can now read the news. However, this feature is for America, Britain and Australia for now. Talking about the second feature, HomePod has also been supported.
According to the 9to5 Mac report, after updating, Siri reads daily on daily basis and reads it to you. There are reports of the Washington Post Daily. Apart from this, users can also hear news from news sources such as Fox News, CNN and NPR. There is currently no information about when this feature will come to India.
This feature clearly shows that Apple does not want Siri to be behind in any case with Google Assistant and Alexa. So now the company has given an option to read news in Siri.
It is worth noting that iOS 11.2.5, along with some new features, has also been addressed to some problems which were already coming to the customers. There is also the problem of iPhone X which is attached to the Face ID. Apart from this, like other updates, there are also bug fixes and there are important security updates that you can read on the company's website.
You will get notifications in the settings to update, or you can update it by tapping on the software updates from General Settings. For this, you will need WiFi and the company always advises that it first backup the data.
