Kind of - slightly different but similar.

The way it works is like this:

1. You click to up vote
2. A comment is created on a container post on Hive from your account quoting the message you upvoted and it self-upvotes but delegates the rewards to the original author.
3. After that, if anyone else upvotes, their vote goes on the first comment that was created from your account.
