Gamer Forever

My life emotionally with video games started when I was 12 years old and my sister's husband gave me a PlayStation One. You can imagine my face with joy when I open a box and between shirts was that beautiful console the small version, with two controls and several games, which will not take long to install the TV with the RCA cables and play at once without stopping.

I understand that in those times I was smaller and really annoyed me for anything, especially if I lost in the game either against the computer or against family and friends. Worse still when they mocked me in my face that they beat the owner of the console, I went to the extreme that I started insulting or in some extreme cases threw the controls to the floor with all the fury at that moment. I must add that the material with which they manufactured the controls of PlayStation One were top quality due to so many times that they were thrown to the ground with force never but the controls were never damaged, it could be said that they were indestructible something that really does not happen with the controls of the new generations that half touch the ground and turn out to be disposable.
Before talking about some video games that drove me crazy I would like to comment that the CD-ROM was a new technology that many liked at the time which had a large storage capacity where a standard CD-ROM can hold 650 or 700 MB of data. However, they had a great weakness that many were used by children and they were scratched which meant that the game stopped working and you had to buy another, I still remember when I started the image with the PlayStation logo and it stayed fixed without waiting for some minutes until you realized that the CD was stuck and that you should clean it and restart the console.
I still remember that when you started there were two logos with a white background and a rhombus that showed the letters of Sony Computer Entertainment and the second logo with a black background and the characteristic sign that we all know about PlayStation which if you stayed for a few seconds in this part your face of joy went to a face of annoying and wise that you should restart and if not working clean the CD with the first thing you had on hand or your shirt or flannel hahaha. And then one wondered why the CDs were so damaged, how innocent we were as children. In case the second logo passed and the game started with total normality my friends and I jumped for joy which will represent it in the next well-known GIF of the comedy film Zoolander.

Some of the games that drove me crazy were: Pepsiman that by the way I still have it on the computer through an emulator, the game consisted of crossing obstacles while collecting the cans of Pepsi soda a very entertaining and addictive game but that at the same time it could make you lose control since you had a number of lives and the Checkpoints (places where you could continue if they killed you) were very far away and you could fail at any time either by carelessness or because some parts were very difficult.

How not to include in the list to Tekken 3 the famous game of Namco with its gameplay of fight like the previous games something basic but fun and frustrating at the same time, for good and bad it sounds. If I won, I was always happy, but there were friends or relatives who until now do not know how to block all attacks and at the same time annihilate me in a matter of seconds giving a beating to anyone, the truth was something impressive and very annoying that you could not win or you could not find the formula to win which always ended in fights and turning off the console. There were characters that were an annoyance Eddie example or others who hit very hard, being somewhat unbalanced game.

I do not know if the fighting games are the ones that awaken the frustration in all of us, but here is another well-known being Mortal Kombat Trilogy that for me to this day I love for sure for my point of view have not released a version that overcome this Mortal Kombat Trilogy since it had a great variety of characters and abilities that when you beat the computer or your friend you pressed the start key to see the wide list of combos, Fatality, Babality, Animality, Brutality, Frienship and the great list of elements that the game possesses. In which you spent hours and hours playing regardless of whether you were frustrated or winning it was always fun, of course if it did not reach the point where you would throw the controls on the floor, you would argue with the one you were playing or your mother would finish running to all of you so that you would not fight more and hid the console. In the campaign against the computer you had to defeat a list of enemies and in the end fight against Shao Kahn to tell the truth, I never hate an enemy as much as I hate Shao Kahn, he made me spend many moments of uncontrolled frustration, immense amounts of anger and despair. Game World of Warcraft currently and Silvannas along with all the "HORDA" are below Shao Kahn as far as hate hahaha.

I must be honest with my readers and tell them that I have been gradually controlling anger, it has been very difficult and in some cases we have failed. Of course we must control ourselves and as we grow and mature we understand that we make mistakes, that we hurt the feelings of the people who are playing with us and that we should not get entangled in a simple game, that instead of having fun we end up frustrated, angry and losing the control.

We must bear in mind that the purpose or goal of video games is our enjoyment and fun above all things, it is an entertainment which we must take advantage of whether to escape from family, work and, more importantly, stress. We must be good players, live in coexistence, without the need to insult others and I know that on many occasions there is always someone who despairs us in a videogame, we must be very patient, I think "Patience is a virtue that few have and that has been lost over time. " Do not fall into being toxic players, which compromises our behavior and lowers our performance in the game because at that time we are full of anger and our mind is clouded. Without forgetting that we can ban the account for hours, days, weeks and even permanently. I have always thought that the banning systems are poorly executed in some videogames or do not explain the true reason for the report, this is also convenient for companies since if they banned you legally or illegally you would have to buy the game again and So the video game industry will always end up winning.
I leave an excellent video of League of Legends that explains many things that we feel to win or lose and always show that we are better than others in our favorite games with an excellent song from Imagine Dragons: Warriors for the World League of Legends year 2014.
Online is an option?
One of the most annoying things to play multiplayer online are hackers or people who use cheat, being something so stressful that even when you are giving your best to win and that kind of players arrive who ruin the game and the day we passed. from being happy to upset in a matter of seconds. Of course in the videogame industry there are departments in charge of detecting those players to be banned since they can remove the excitement of the game no matter how good the videogame is if it has a large number of hackers, players generally end up repudiating the videogame.

Praying for a good Internet better than 10 mbps.
Leaving behind the emotional moments of losing or winning and overcoming the frustrations and anger of when I was a child and only one remains, as it turns out that I live in Venezuela and as many know the country is in a deep crisis I do not want to get to politics, but all This is aimed at what we suffer many fans of video games in my country and has to do with the internet or internet company because the national is behind in terms of technology and speed as well as quality. Being Venezuela one of the countries with the slowest internet in Latin America which brings us problems when it comes to playing and streaming, an example is not playing during the day, doing constant speed tests and being lucky.

hahahaha the same happened to me, it hurts that the games now only worry about the quality of the graphics.
