As you can see the Samick limbs do not have as steep of an arch, but they fit the bow just fine with a few minor modifications. The bow fires straight and true with the Samick limb replacement. It is worth noting that when the bow is strung with the Samick limbs, the string is closer to the riser by a few inches. This has no significant impact on the performance of the bow as far as I can tell.
Why would you want to do this?
Jaguar takedown replacement limbs are almost as expensive as a new bow, while Samick Sage limbs are not nearly as expensive. It is also claimed around the archery community that Martin limbs are of lesser quality. This is controversial, and in my personal experience not something I can say definitively one way or the other.
--------------------------What you will need to accomplish this modification--------------------------

- Adhesive foam, to cushion friction/wear points.
- A 3/16 Allen Wrench
- Scissors/Shears
- Limbs from a Samick Sage recurve bow
- --(optional)-- This might look familiar to a lot of you. This is a spacer that typically comes included within boxes of 6 Carbon fiber arrows, in this case purchased at Cabellas.
- --(optional)-- Adhesive velcro strips. These are for a string noise dampening modification I will go over at the end of this article.
Here you can see the limbs do not perfectly line up with each other, and this is the reason we need to modify the bow.
Before we begin, here is an outline of the bow as it was set up with the OEM limbs.
Something you might note here is that I've wrapped my handle and part of the riser in paracord. In an emergency, you could make a bow string from this. There are countless uses for paracord when you are in the bush, and I'd recommend this as it is a very non invasive modification.
Also, here you might notice the Velcro on my bridge. I prefer to shoot instinctive with this bow, and shoot right off the riser.

Now lets begin.
First remove the limb. For this, you will need a 3/16 #Allenwrench.
Next you will need to remove all of the components for mounting the stock limb.
IE: the washers and other fittings.
Next, grab your Foam adhesive strips. Cut some lengths of the foam to size to fit into place on the riser's limb slots.
In this case, I had to cut a fraction of another strip to fit the full length of the limb slot.
Make sure to create a hole in the foam strips for the mounting bolt to go through.
Now to mount the #Sammicksage limbs onto the #jaguartakedown riser.
In the below picture, the #MartinJaguartakedown #bowlimb is on top, and the #Sammick Sage limb is on the bottom.
In this second picture, the #Martin is at the bottom, and the #sage limb is at the top.
You can see, the Sammick limb has a built in bolt seat in the limb.
As you can see here, the limb does not fit perfectly in place in the #riser.
This is why we need to add a shim to close this gap.
Ironically, the piece of foam spacer from the arrow 6 pack box is a near perfect fit.
You can take a pair of scissors to snip off a piece to shim this opening.
The finished product should look similar to this:
I will conclude with the optional modification, and overview of my setup.
Here you can see my old limb, and the new limb side by side. The old 1 has velcro where the string comes in contact with the limb, and the new limb does not.
Simply lay the velcro down on the end of the limb, and use a sharpie to outline the shape you will need to cut out.
Cut 2 strips and place them on the limbs accordingly.
