I haven't seen sweet potato plants just normal potatoes but those have small leaves than the beans.

Ah okay, they're a vine with a similar left but they can get a little purple looking sometimes. They're a little smoother though, not so many veins and texture as beans. Yes I have a garden : )

Most of my garden is tropical... I use to be the editor for The International Cordyline Society and wrote a lot of articles. I also traveled Queensland and New South Wales here in Australia visiting gardens. I have a strong interest in vegetable gardens now though. We don't have much of a vegetable garden at the moment, we have a herb garden with some food and I have a few other things growing through our tropical garden but I also have a lot of fruit trees etc growing in pots as we're getting ready to move as we'd like to more to a rural location and become self sufficient, so we're making a head start with our trees : )
