SAN XAVIER DEL BAC
I once spent 13 months photographing 4000 religious buildings in all 50 US states.
Later I'll do a more thorough recap of the highlights.
This is the oldest church in Arizona "San Xavier del Bac"

I spent several hours getting the building at all times of the day... and because it was so far away from Tuscon the skies were luckily pretty dark
This is so freaking beautiful! It's so sharp and amazing with that darkness and light at the same time. Love the wooden structure.
Those wood structures are where the locals come and sell jewelry and other touristy sort of items during the day... it made for an interesting framing and helped tell part of the story of the building.

Night photography can turn out pretty incredible! Some of my favorites are long exposures at night as well!

Yeah about 13 months on the road to all 50 states. I towed an airstream to all 48 of the lower states.
Sounds fun. I'd like to do the same around Europe.
