This photo was taken in Szeged (a city in southern Hungary) and the arches in it belong to the University building. There’s something intriguing about brick structures, you get to see every piece of a puzzle that fits perfectly next to the other.
Walking through the building gate was one of those moments where you pass by something that grabs your attention and you just have to take out your camera (or phone, as was the case with this one) and try your best to replicate the image in your eyes to a photo.
Hi, @jny.untraveled thanks for sharing. I too like you if I see something of beauty or interest it's out with the camera. If I'm to be honest every time I go on holiday I never get to see the place I am visiting unless through the lens of a camera.Just can't help myself. Great picture by the way that's never endingggggggggggg. Take care @racykacy
Agreed completely, @racykacy! When traveling, it often becomes hard to find the balance between capturing photos and capturing memories :)
I couldn't agree more myself, however with photos memories can and do come flooding back. Now where's my camera to take a snap of this chat, so when you have success on steemit I cam look back on the times we were both starting out. Keep well @racykacy
Hi you 2
Thanks for upvoting my post.
The contents of that part #1 are posted now.
Nice corridor entry.
Have nice day.
Thanks, @theladybugsadven, just checked it out.
thanks for looking.
Wow! This is amazing work! The amount of days and work that went into laying all the bricks are just amazing! People in the old days were very patient and they were proud of their work!
All these brick works were manually done without machine!?
The building was completed around 90 years ago, so if not manually then surely with less advanced technology than the one used nowadays. Either way, it's impressive architecture as the bricks are laid out with almost millimeter precision.
Great shot, those arches kept my eyes and mind intrigued for quite some time!
Thanks! It's an interesting angle, just had to take a photo when we passed by.
It looks a bit like Bologna!
You're right, it does resemble Bologna!
This has seemed wonderful to me
Thanks!
