The ancient settlement Ait-Ben-Haddou has been a film set for many movies. The impressive mud-brick houses attract many tourists who are spending hours to get there from Marrakech. For me, the village was only a short taxi ride away from Ourzazate, where I was staying with an amazing Couchsurfing host.

Mud brick houses actually :)
The village looks like something out of the Raiders of the Lost Ark movie. Very nice.
They actually filmed a lot of movies there, including Gladiator and a few episodes of game of thrones!
