The Burj Khalifa dominates the skyline of Dubai. I got this unusual photograph of the sunlight bouncing off of the structure whilst travelling along the highway. I wasn't driving you will be pleased to know.

Dubai has a multitude of stunning buildings and structures. The way the city is laid out is made for the 21st century with whole industries located together.
I like the way the high rise buildings look in this image, with the beacon like structure of the Burj shining like starlight in the middle of them all.
This first image has been cropped and rotated a few degrees to align it with the horizon. The second image is the raw version.

That tallest bldg in the world. Do you know you can see that building if you are in the industrial area in Sharjah near its boundary to Dubai?

Imagine if they captured all that energy. It reminds me of a solar furnace.
Definitely! If they could set up mirrors and solar panels it could really amplify that energy too :-)
Love to visit that beauty. I love architecture and so does my 8-year-old. We are good pair for that kind of thing.
It's a stunning structure and the view from the top is just amazing. You would both enjoy it I'm sure. I posted about it a couple of weeks ago when we went up to the top of the Burj Khalifa.

It is pretty spectacular Putra, I like this shot as it just came out of nowhere. I didn't know that the building made this effect with the sunlight. When I saw it I just snapped it.
