Oscar Niemayer (1907-2012) is one of the most famous and important architects from Brazil. His designs were groundbreaking for modern architecture. There are many inspiring buildings throughout Brazil and other countries.
The Oscar Niemayer Museum or Niemayer's Eye in Curitiba was already designed in 1967 but officially opened in 2003.
