Architectural Photography - Stairway at the brother in law's house

The story behind this photo is that it was a goof - the camera fixed the exposure on the window above. I took this as part of a series of real estate photos for my brother in law's house in Norwich, CT (USA). Below is a slightly better exposed version of the same shot, and a shot of the same stairway from above.

In case you were wondering, the house was on the market for a long time before finally selling earlier this spring.

Thanks. It was (and still is, but for someone else now)a grand old house. It was very easy to photograph because it had such character, it the way that old houses do. When it was decorated for the holidays, it looked like something out of a magazine.

old houses are absolutely amusing. they stay witching even when getting old...
