Built in 1997 and it was built to mimic the house from the animated series of "The Simpsons." It was built for $120,000USD at the time for the grand prize in a contest sponsored by Pepsi, Fox and Kaufman and Broad homebuilders.

However the original winner of the contest chose to take a lump sum of $75,000 instead of the house.

It took 49 days to construct and was revealed to the public on the 1st of August 1997. And by September of 1997 several thousands of people were lined up waiting to see the finished product. It was open to the public from August to September and at least 30,000 people went to see it, including the creator of The Simpsons himself, Matt Groening.

4 Bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 2 story house, 2,200 square feet. Also had Bart's Treehouse, swing set, and a barbecue in the backyard. The house also had at least 1,500 Simpson props such as the curtain with the corn cobs on them, and Duff beer cans as well as Homer's favorite spot the sofa.
