I am reading the Zohar, Bahir, Sefer Yetzirah and the Orchard of Pomegranates by Moshe Cordovero. I am very interested in these books and I am trying to learn Aramaic so I can read the oldest copies as they were originally written.
Amazing! There are more and more people from all over the world that study Kabala , and many are not Jewish. If you are so interested in these subjects I would say that you have a very ancient and high soul. Many texts requires a very high spiritual development in order to understand.
I was lucky to stumble upon a very small book called the Essential Kabbalah by Professor Daniel Matt back in the 90’s. Since getting a small taste and a glimpse of the radiance hidden in these books I of have become friends with Professor Matt who has helped me dig deeper into the Zohar and older works of the great teachers from Safed and beyond. I study with rabbi Dr. Lichtman "Kabbala lam"
I became especially interested in the work of Isaac Luria and Chaim Vital when I learned that the father of Chaim Vital once lived near the home town of my great grandfather in Calabria, Italy and that i have distant cousins who are lurie/Luria
This is really very impressive. Thanks for sharing 🙏
I am also very interested in the original Books of Enoch that were written a very long time ago.
