In Yokohama, Japanese architect Shinsuke Fujii has softened the brutalist structure of his building with oriels opening onto a view of cherry blossoms.
This house, called "Oriel Window House", is spread over several floors, because its plot is only 42 m2. It remains bright and warm despite the massive use of raw concrete. Its oriel or glazed balconies are very important for the view and the lifestyle of the building.
Wow, that is awesome and a great use of space.
