You can go straight to the awesome polar expedition by Eric Larsen and Ryan Waters in the next paragraph
I had a dream. I was attending a conference in US. After the conference, I was walking around and somehow I knew that North Pole is just a few miles away from me. It doesn't make any sense I know , I know the map. But I put on my dry suit and walk across the boarder. There I saw a baby polar bear sitting on a puddle and I looked at it from a distance I don't want to get caught and eaten by its parent in my dreams ! My suit was warm enough and I didn't feel cold at all. I even jumped to water to have fun
Then after I wake up, I google how people walk to North Pole. It was far more challenging than I experienced in my dream. It wasn't easy, there was no land, there was only floating Arctic ice. Due to global warming, the ice is so thin so no plane land on it. It was extremely difficult and life-threatening. The ice are constantly drifting so they could move further South when they were sleeping. they experienced cracking ice, cold temperature, storm, mental breakdown or even the predators like polar bear and ice shark.

He and his partner Ryan Waters could be the last people to conquer the expedition, it is gonna be more and more difficult because of the changing ice condition.
He published a book about their polar expedition :
Now knowing what they did to achieve their goal, my dream was just a joke. What they did was truly inspiring. Arctic may be infeasible, but Antarctica maybe more likely for me.
