I will start with a quote for Indonesia from the first President of Indonesia Sukarno.
Indonesia is an archipelagic island country in South east Asia, lying between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. It is in a strategic location astride or along major sea lanes from Indian Ocean to Pacific Ocean.
I was not in Indonesia i was in heaven, there is no place like this in the world for me that i can compare with Indonesia it's just so beautiful.
So this will be a Visual Story of my Soccer Referee Career in Indonesia.
The Arrival at Indonesian Airport
First i will start with the arrival in Jakarta, Indonesia. The airport is beautiful and pretty big for it's city. It was an hot day so we i have few pictures of it because i was in a hurry to get into my apartment downtown.
The street were full with traffic jam but i managed to arrive at my apartment after all. I was just amazed how the city was alive, the streets were just full.
Apartment - Taman Rasuna - Overview
Taman Rasuna Apartments are nice place to live with family. It is strategically located, surrounded with clean and well-maintained pavements, fish pond, and greeneries. A huge podium area stretched from the 1st to 17th tower, providing a lot of open-air space with jogging track, playground, garden, swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts. It is also easy to find fresh produces/groceries as there are some neighborhood grocery shops within the area. I also love how the apartment units here have big windows and doors that allow good circulation of sunshine and fresh air.
The Start of the Soccer League Indonesia
As the day came we were ready for the big Soccer League start in Indonesia. The Stadiums where sometimes full and the fans were just amazing. The atmosphere was just for me as a referee it was also a big live experience to be a referee infront of 50.000 people. Everything was just in order and everyone was smiling. I can never forget the smile on peoples faces because it made me happy to see them smiling.
So on the way you will see couple of pictures around Indonesia taken from the Soccer Games itself.
Jakarta City Center - Mall - Parks
The City Center was just amazing, i had a time to take pictures of amazing buildings, people and food in Jakarta. It was full with people and almost every soccer fan was able to notice me walking around the Center. People were very kind and welcomed me as one of them. The City Mall was very big so i didn't have enough time to walk all around but i was in some of the stores which the stuff was very kind and welcoming. Without further ado here are some pictures taken in Jakarta - Bali - Makassar
