Quite difficult to paint waves in aquarella, and I made few mistakes.
But my preoccupation was not particularly related to the watercolor technique I have to achieve, but to the significance of frequently used expressions like: take the wave, on wave or catch the wave and their psychological meaning.
It is said that life offers you opportunities to take advantage of. As I know, for most of the people, what is difficult is actually to take decisions.
Being on the wave means you are at the right time with the right people in advantageous circumstances. Isn't true?
These were some of my thoughts making this watercolour drawing.

Beautiful post, and I can connect to it very well. Steemit definitely was/is such a wave for me. When I found out about it through one of Peter's posts, I didn't even have to think, just acted! Same when I stumbled across Sola... although there I don't have any idea, if it will be any good. Just feels interesting though..

Isn't that the characteristic of the waves?
if you know how to paint them properly, that is! we are not by default able to express this in paintings, what we see in nature. thats why I liked your painting.

My wave is a shy attempt that reminds us that our achievements depend sometimes on intuition, boldness and risk. I like Japanese art and Hokusai is sublime! :)
