Hello everyone!
I've been very busy with work and accepting commissions for extra income. It is really hard for me to find some time to create something for myself. And so my friends and I decided to have "zoom meeting calls" and we will just draw whatever we like for 30mins.
This zoom meeting I decided to paint Howl from Studio Ghibli's Howl Moving Castle XD They call this ghibliredraw hashtag on social media. I can only afford until this level but I hope to have more time so I could create portfolio worth it for myself
Anyway, here's what I have after 30 minutes:
I feel sorry for my progress so I extend some more minutes to work a little more on this piece..
Here's the "more minutes later" with the screencap from the movie on the lower left <3
Wow, long time no see you. I'm glad you found your way to the Hive. Fantastic work! 😊
Hiiii @trincowski :D It's been a while XD I miss the people here hahaha, my friend told me about the changes, so i was able to find myself here at hive :D
nice to see you again!!!
Amazing! It's pretty impressive, especially given that it was made in just 30 minutes. Give me 30 hours, and I might come out with something that somewhat resembles this, if you squint really hard 😆!
hahahah it's okay @zacknorman97 , I was just used to drawing haha you can do it too when time comes :D
Drawing, as awful as I am at it, it a whole lot of fun. Even if it starts and ends with stickmen, those little sketches gives me a big smile :-D
👋 Hi @adelair, I was flipping through the blockchain and stumbled on your work! You've been upvoted by Sketchbook / a community for design and creativity. Looking forward to crossing paths again soon.

Thank you so much! It's an honor to be found guys, hope our paths will cross again :D
Awesome work @adelair 😊 Have you figured out Communities yet? Check out OnChainArt for where a big chuck of the art community is posting. I made it for people like you 👍
Hello @midlet I'm so new with hive and this communities XD I just heard about the new changes from my friend, and I was able to find out about hive :D
Thanks for letting me know about communities, saw it from other people's post too but don't know how it works :D
It's basically just like a Facebook group or a sub-reddit. A collection of posts of a certain type of content to help with discovery and finding the stuff that interests you.
So now along with following people, you can follow Communities and you have two feeds, one for the people you follow, and one for the Communities you follow. It's really useful, because you can get exposed to people you don't follow, that are posting in a community you follow, as well as people who don't follow you getting exposed to your work because they follow the community.
On PeakD, if you go to OnChainArt's page, there is a blue button at the top that says "Write A Post", just click on that, and that's it :) Similar process on hive.blog, but the interface is pretty bad, I'd suggest using PeakD.
You can also post into the community using any frontend by using the community tag as the first tag. For OCA it's "hive-156509" That part can be a bit confusing for people but if you use the web interfaces, that's not necessary.
Thank you so much for walking me through with the communities @midlet, will post when I can paint some personal art :)
For now, I was not able to post my latest one in the communities but I'd love to on my upcoming works :)
No problem, feel free to repost some of your older work there too. I know you’ve posted a lot of great work over the years and one of the things I try to promote is resurfacing some of that old buried content. It’s better for people to see it than to be buried on a blog 😊
