This artwork allows me to play with implicit narratives by using interchangeable layers. The beauty of art is that each person can draw their own conclusions and find personal resonance.
Esta obra de arte me permite jugar con narrativas implícitas mediante el uso de capas intercambiables. La belleza del arte radica en que cada persona puede sacar sus propias conclusiones y encontrar resonancia personal.
What meanings do you see in the various elements of this image? What do you think the overall message could be? I sense a hint of unease or anxiety in the character, whose expression we cannot fully discern, but whose body language seems less than optimistic. That old-fashioned telephone dial makes me wonder if this person is constantly seeking the opinions and decisions of others.
¿Qué significados ves en los diversos elementos de esta imagen? ¿Qué crees que podría ser el mensaje general? Siento un toque de inquietud o ansiedad en el personaje, cuya expresión no podemos discernir por completo, pero cuya lenguaje corporal parece menos que optimista. Ese antiguo disco de teléfono me hace preguntarme si esta persona está constantemente buscando las opiniones y decisiones de los demás.
The bottom portion appears to be a melange of diverse perspectives, influences, and opinions from the external world - a visual representation of how our lives are shaped by the myriad of external influences we encounter.
La parte inferior parece ser una mezcla de diversas perspectivas, influencias y opiniones del mundo externo, una representación visual de cómo nuestras vidas son moldeadas por la miríada de influencias externas que encontramos.
