I'm glad to continue the story about painting my diploma.
Yuri Konovalov was appointed the head of the diploma. He was a big fan of symbolism, he recommended that I saturate the work with different symbols. True, in the sketch they already were not few. The head of my diploma dissuaded me to do a triptych. He proposed to focus on the part with the conditional name "Jazz" and increase it in height.
You can see the added piece of paper on the old photo.
A month before the defense, slowly, I began work on the diploma.
We worked in one workshop with my friend Alexei Dmitriev.
Later I repeated this composition in the work dedicated to the festival of jazz passing on the last day of summer- "August 31. Jazz".
