Today I want to show you an interesting idea. It will be a mini photo frame from the lid from under wet wipes.
I constantly buy wet wipes for my children. Since they are quickly consumed, I choose a large package immediately. Such napkins have plastic lids (perhaps they are called differently, but we call them so), which prevent their premature drying.
These lids I decided not to throw out, and postpone until another crazy idea. And she was born in my head. The lids are easily detached from the main package. I decided that they would be a charming mini-frame for a photo in the form of a little book. And they will be double, and in them you can immediately prevent 2 photos.
Well, shall we begin? For work we need:
The cover from under napkins,
Felt,
Scissors,
The glue gun,
Satin ribbon width 0.5 cm,
Pencil.
Before you make a frame, circle on a blank sheet the size of the "window" in which the photo will be glued. Simply if it is not done at this stage, then it will be difficult for you to determine the size of the photo. The first step is to prepare the back part. We circle the back of the lid on the felt, and cut out. We paste on the back of a small piece of satin ribbon. It will be a hook for hanging. You can also use a simple twine. We paste with felt.
I wanted to get rid of the sticker, but then I thought that under the dense felt it would still not be visible.
On the front side, we also paste the felt.
Now we will issue the front side. Here you can give vent to your imagination. It can be rhinestones, lace, fabric, in general, anything that your soul will like. But my daughter wanted something with flowers, and so we decided to make dandelions.
We cut a thin strip of yellow felt.
We cut the fringe on it, not bringing it to the edge.
Then we tighten the strip, gluing the edge.
Cut out a circle of green felt and close the bottom.
Cut out the leaves.
We start all the workpiece on the substrate.
We'll complete the half-buffets, and we're done.
We glue the photo.
The daughter suggested closing the sides with rhinestones.
But the top part of the cover did not work, otherwise the lid would not close.
It remains to give granny. The work is unpretentious, but it is made with love, and therefore it will warm the soul.
Such frames perform several functions at once - this is a small panel on the wall, and a photo frame.
