How are we all?
I have decided today is the day I introduce one of my many Hobbies/Works/Passions!
Are you ready for it!!?
Beaded Jewellery and things..... Yep.
Not as interesting as you thought?
Well How beautiful is this bad boy? It is an Octahedron, and took me approx 16 hours to put together-Bead by bead....
What about this one?
This second one is a Moonstone and Lapis Lazuli Pendant and took me around 27 hours to complete! :)
How do you do this without going insane you ask?
I was once a drug addict with a VERY high attention span and have always had a love for fiddly things.
Did I mention I may have been a Magpie in another life?
I frekon love sparkly things. Like really SPARKLY. I could hoard that shit till the I was sleeping on it and possibly inhaling in my sleep :')
and the fact I get to buy sparkly things to make bigger sparkly things?
Ahhh... Won me right there.
But seriously, This is the only thing I have ever found in my life that I love and I am pretty good at....Besides research....
Some people can play music....Some people draw.....I Bead....

A bracelet......The beads in the centre of the paisley shapes are handmade, soft glass. (My mom makes amazing things with molten lava)

This ball feels soooo much like a hackey sack!! I made this Triangle by triangle and it took me approx 72 hours :) <3
Colours for me have always had a very strong resonance....And as I grew older and more wise-I learned why.
Colours can define a feeling, a mood, a sensation...Can trigger a memory....Colours have a lot of power in our lives and existence and with my beading, I feel I incorporate more colours and feelings into my life whilst beading...It is almost a self-therapy....<3
