RE: BLUE BLOOD MOON ON WATERCOLOR (the process)

in #art7 years ago

LOVE your wonderful watercolor painting tutorial, @superjongky! Giving it a big smile in @jerrybanfield's Resteem Request curation channel. ;)

I paint so when I saw you about to use the toothbrush to spatter for the small star effect, I wondered if you'd coach on how to NOT get too many spatters. So imagine my chuckle when I read under your next photo:

"Please control your toothbrush so your sky will still be a sky with stars and not stars with a sky. Lol."

PERFECT!!! ;)

I think you may have meant 'left' here?:
"Apply Red on the right edge of the moon to make it darker."

I did wonder what paint you used to add the freckles. Was it raw umber, @superjongky?

Anyway, upvoted and will resteem and FB/tweet. Good luck with your Resteem Request and all the very best with all your art work both offline and here on Steemit! ;)

Thank you I didn't notice that. Noted Mam. I'll edit that. That's definitely LEFT.
For the freckles I used combination of light gray and brown.

Done editing Mam...thank you so much.

Wow! That was quick, @superjongky! Great going and best of resteeming luck again. ;)

And just realized I hadn't followed, so took care of that just now so I don't miss out on your other tutorials.

No prob. Just an itsy bitsy thing. Ok, that makes sense. Gray and brown. Will make mental note so I can use when I'm 183 and getting out my canvases again. ;) Thanks, @superjongky!

Thank you Mam. Best luck! Godbless.
