My art teacher used to say "Muses are everywhere, but true inspiration comes in the midst of creation and not before"... His view was that 'inspiration' is when an artist enters "the zone" where their idea take a new and unexpected route, that the artist could not foresee prior to starting - a kind of deeper insight that comes only during one's craft.
In essence it was just his way of saying "Don't wait, get to work - don't dream of miracles on an empty canvas."
So in light of this thought I'm sharing this chronological compilation of fast drawings, done on black background with totally random themes. I made these over the course 3 sessions. There was no final goal, everything is neither complete nor missing, the only challenge was to draw things in ways I never drew before...
I've included the sketches at full resolution, so feel free to zoom-in to take a closer look at some of the detail.

There is a freshness in doodles sometimes it is difficult to keep in polished pieces
Not the freshness of that last cute poo pic lol
Loved the Unicorn girl 🌱

Like your style - youre welcome :-)
This drawings are awesome! I wish I could draw as good as you. Unfortunately, I don't have talent in it, but that doesn't stop me from appreciating art.
thank you so much @chrislyr!
They are really bright and colourful. Also I sort of relate with your story.
thank you so much! i'd like to hear your thoughts on the story! if its a long one, please make a post and send me a link!
Sorry for the 4 day delay response.
It's not long. What happened is that I was motivated to draw my own work since I couldn't find anyone to do the artwork of a comic I am working on and that is pretty much it. And while I am at it, "Don't wait, get to work - don't dream of miracles on an empty canvas." is something similar I not only I have been told but told myself (if that makes any sense.). So yeah.
