Whilst walking around beautiful Linlithgow a few weeks ago I saw these amazing cakes in a cake shop window and just had to photograph them.
They are almost exact replicas of the wonderful Kelpie statues in Falkirk, Scotland, shown here in a Wikipedia photo

I have made a few model cakes for my children over the years, including my daughter’s wedding cake, but I cannot work out how these were made and what keeps them from collapsing!
Superb!

You are absolutely right the cakes looks exactly like the statue in Falkirk, you probably need a consistency that you can model such marzipan. I saw many marzipan cakes of different shapes, when I think about that it makes me hungry :) By the way, greetings from Fife
That’s interesting, greetings @stef1
Could this be your first ever selfie Anne?
