I really like to deconstruct portraits and got to it by trying to paint portraits of models (they were always the best highres photos I could find on the internet). But as they are almost everytime completely photoshopped and so flat that you almost can´t see the person behind, I tried to find that what´s left mostly in the eyes, as you can read a person to a great extent in them, and from that on deconstructing the person and trying to get closer to the one behind the facade.
