Hi artdvine welcome! Yes you can earn by sharing your content on hive, people who have staked hive power can vote on posts/comments to allocate rewards and you can also earn by staking hive and voting, those are called curation rewards!

Also, it looks like I'll have to reedit my original post's tags to have it included on the introduction page, using the tag in a comment doesn't work.
There's a popular tag #introduceyourself, if you use it I would suggest making a big post about who you are / showing examples of your art etc. It's a good way to sort of verify yourself in the community 👍
