Hello Steemians!

I am in Florence now, participating in Susan Lyon's workshop. Amazing city, great Florence Studio, nice people. We had amazing sitter today and it was a great pleasure to make this sketch of him, relaxing, enjoying the music, feeling great - love sitters like him!

I've done this portrait wet-on-wet in 2,5 hours. Oil on linen, aprrox 11x14 inches
Hope you dig it, people!

I think it’s amazing, he has the most gorgeous olive complexion and the highlight on the forehead gives much needed volume. I think it’s harder to give volume to profile view so great job!

What a beautiful life painting session. The image that you painted is more artistic than what a photo can capture, the lighting is not so harsh and the expression and his skin tone become gentler and more classical.

Nice work, Arthur :D.

Lovely portrait! It's much better than a photo would be. The expression on your portrait is exactly the same as on the model's face. Greetings to Florence - one of the most beautiful cities in the world..

I think this is the best painting I've seen on steemit yet. Awesome job.. I wish I could get in a workshop like that.

Always amaaaaaaaazing to see your portraits, @arthurgain <3 The skintone is wonderfully done, and rich and deep <3 <3 <3 Love your style so much !

Wow this work is great. Looking very realistic.

I love the way you eliminated the light on the model's face buy using original color for the painting.

Awesome!
