Liquify

in #art4 months ago

I was playing with the liquify tool and just painted whatever comes to mind as I go along. I've seen other artists get so good at manipulating their works with the tool that's a bit of a challenge to use. I learned some minor techniques from the exercise. Like the rest of my works, this one will be one of those creations where I would eventually forget.

It's not creepy or scary enough. That's a disappointment. My head fiction image of horror is more detailed and it sucks that I'm not yet at a skill level where I could bring it to life.

I've been studying more about the uncanny valley phenomenon so maybe I'll try for pieces that can capture the eerie feeling sometime in the future. It wants to say hi.

The QR code I use as a watermark leads to my @artofadamada account on Hive as a landing page whenever I share my work across other social media. I doubt I'd get a significant reach as I am now but if I can get more people curious about where that QR code leads, hopefully it converts to more sign ups on the platform.
