I took footage that I had for my formal art video (being assessed) and created a less formal, more fun video using "Matt Maeson - My Friends are Lonely" as a soundtrack.
The message behind this is basically addressing the significance of appearance and how our perceptions of people can be shallow. Months of processing when into this, so it's really difficult to explain in one paragraph, if you liked the video and wanted some reasoning and explanation for the visuals, keep reading below.
BASICALLY:
The subjects in the video were all interviewed and painted colours that best represent their personalities.
The symbolism in the video refers to covering up one's true identity to please the eyes of strangers, the struggle of trying to take it off and submerging under the pressure of expectations.
Obviously there's a lot more to it.

cool!
Very cool....Matt Maeson seems worth exploring. Hope you ace the assessment {thumbs up} ...upvoted and followed.
I hope so too, thank you. :)
Awesome!!!!
Dankie stranger
First of all... Your music choice is prime! And second I have always wanted to do this! WHat type of pain did you use? Was it difficult to remove asfter the shoot?
I look foward to following you :)
I used non-toxic acrylic.
And warning, if it gets in your hair it will take at least 2 days to get the colour and stickiness out. I learnt that the hard way.
It comes off the skin relatively easy if you damp your skin first and make sure the layer isn't too thin.
Enjoyy. x
very good to know, I'll be careful :) Thank you!
