I felt that this day was going to be beautiful, but when I received my magazine, I was far from suspecting it would become so fantastic ;-)
Yes, I can surprise myself, and please do not see here a lack of modesty but rather a perpetual doubt about the final printing of my paintings ... I do not control the printing and the rendering when it is not me who paints,
and therefore, I have to do some letting go if I do not want to knot my stomach ...
so when I held the package delivered by UPS in my hands, I just wanted to be happy with what I would find inside
and the result has been beyond my expectations ! a beautiful magazine whose quality of print does make honor to my bright paintings and happy illustrations =))
and then I felt so happy to see and touch the physical manifestation of this work in which I have been diving for 2 months,
the layout which I wished it reflects the exentricity and the joyous party in which we are immersed artistically, me, my creatures, and my family who encourages me and bathes in the exuberance of my projects ...^_^
So here, this portfolio that I wanted in a magazine format, that I did print and just arrived, I will show you an extract through the following photos.
This magazine will allow me to show my creations and to be a tool on which to rely to develop commissionned artwork that I will develop further as I will work as an independantartist from January 2019.
It will also be searchable on my tablet, but I admit that the paper rendering is still more exciting ^_^
Do not look for the meaning of the word jolibuleuses on the cover ;-) this word doesn't exist, nor does the word Vienbenue ... ^_^
Words are often invented in our universe, as are the characters ;-) ;-)
I'm going to finish there for today because this magazine has 80 pages,
so I'll keep it for future posts so you do not get bored with what might be like my holiday photos that only fascinate me. .....LoL

Je sentais bien que cette journée allait être magnifique, mais quand j'ai reçu mon magazine, j'étais loin de me douter qu'elle deviendrait aussi fantastique ;-)
Eh oui, j'arrive à me surprendre moi-même, et n'y voyez pas ici un manque de modestie mais plutôt un perpetuel doute sur le rendu final en impression de mes peintures...Je ne maitrise pas l'impression et le rendu lorsque ce n'est pas moi qui peins, et donc je suis bien obligée d'operer un certain lacher prise si je ne veux pas me faire des noeuds à l'estomac =))
alors lorsque j'ai tenu le paquet livré par UPS dans mes mains, j'ai juste désiré être heureuse de ce que je verrai à l'intérieur
et le résultat a été au delà de mes espérances ! un magazine magnifique dont la qualité d'impression rend honneur à mes peintures vives et illustrations joyeuses =))
et puis je me suis sentie tellement contente de voir et toucher la manifestation physique de ce travail dans lequel je suis plongée depuis 2 mois,
la mise en page dont je souhaitais qu'elle reflete l'exentricité et la joyeuse fête dans laquelle nous sommes plongés artistiquement, moi, mes créatures, et ma famille qui m'encourage et baigne dans l'exhubérance de mes projets...
Donc voilà, ce portfolio que j'ai voulu dans un format magazine, que j'ai fait imprimer et qui vient d'arriver, je vais vous en livrer un extrait à travers les photos qui suivent.
Ce magazine me permettra de montrer mes créations et d'être un outil sur lequel s'appuyer pour développerles commandes personnalisées que je vais développer plus avant étant donné que je m'installe à mon compte à partir de Janvier 2019.
Il sera également consultable sur ma tablette, mais j'avoue que le rendu papier est encore autrement enthousiasmant
Ne cherchez pas la signification du mot jolibuleuses sur la couverture ;-)
ce mot n'existe pas, pas plus que le terme Vienbenue ,
mais vous en aurez saisi l'essence ^_^
Les mots sont souvent inventés dans notre univers, tout autant que le sont les personnages ;-)
Je vais terminer là pour aujourd'hui car ce magazine comprend 80 pages,
donc j'en garde pour de prochains posts afin de ne pas vous assommer avec ce qui pourrait s'apparenter à mes photos de vacances qui ne passionnent que moi...LoL

I don’t know who printed that but appears to be a fabulous printing job! My career was in printing Barbara, not sure if you knew that? Is this a single copy or are there’s multiple copies of this 80 page masterpiece? It’s wonderful to see so many of your gorgeous, whimsical creatures in one location! No I didn't know your career was in printing, how interesting is that..?! what kind of things did you make in this domain ?
The printer of my magazine is blurb.com if you want to have a look, it is a company that printed book on demand, so I can make only one or multiple copies of the magazine...I can even sell them, being on their platform or amazon, but here my mag is just my portfolio and was not aimed to be sold, but if I want to, it is super easy, I have already done in the past with my previous book with them (http://www.blurb.fr/b/5248539 <--- here you can turn the pages of the book, for your eyes pleasure, if you click on APERCU under the cover picture...)
The quality is not questionable, it is of great quality and they can print only one, so it explains the downside which is the price...for example, if you look at my book le bestiaire enchanté you will see it is 25 euros & only 5 goes into my pocket ;-) ..I'm not complaining about that, just it explains why it can not be less, and I personnaly think 25 is not much for an artbook.
But to allow it to be accessible to all, I also had the possibility to proposeit in pdf format, which allows to consult on a tablet like an ebook
the advantages are a lower price, no shipping costs and immediate download ...Now amatuers of paper books will always appreciate being able to turn real pages, especially a paper of very good quality ;-)

I made it from A to Z, but I sent the files to Blurb.com that is specialized in book printing...I made it with their magazine format but did everything alone ;-) They have quality professionnal printing service indeed !
