Today I wanted to try something different when seeing the leaves that stand out from the trees,
it made me want to give them a second life, a decorative , joyous and colorful one in my workshop ^ _ ^
So here is how I proceeded
Alors voilà comment j'ai procèdé
I first painted a layer of white gesso on each leaf
and then I used my Neocolor II pastels
puis j'ai utilisé mes pastels Neocolor II
Pastels being water soluble,
so I spread the color with a wet brush and created pretty gradients by using several shades of the same color
or by diluting more or less the pigments with my wet brush
I also used the Pitt artists pens from Faber-Castell to add some more depth to the colors
I added details with Posca markers of different colors
And now I have artistic leaves to remember me the beauty of autumn all year long ;-)
Those are the prettiest leaves I have ever seen. Mother Nature will be calling you up and offering you a job! I want your leaves on my trees! Resteeming

Did you make some sun printing today ? I think it is you that had used this technique, in one of the first posts I saw when I arrived on Steemit, I might be wrong, but I think it's you...do you confirm ? =))
Yes I make cyanotypes- but not in this weather, it is a little stormy today!
We have a wonderful weather here ;-) I tend to think the whole world has the same shiny sun...LoL
Yes, it was cyanotypes !!
Adorable. I think it will even look more magical when they start fading...
Thank you ^_^ I hope they will never fade ..; -)
